CranioSacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a hands-on healing technique which is performed by applying a gentle touch to the regulate the parasympathetic nervous system.  This technique promotes relaxation of the tissues surrounding the central nervous system which can aid in healing and overall wellness.

Pediatric CranioSacral Therapy

This is a gentle hands on therapy that can help babies with a number of symptoms.  Torticollis, Plagiocephaly, tongue tie, feeding/latching challenges, sleep challenges, digestion issues, and birth trauma to name just a few. It helps their little bodies and minds to reset their autonomic nervous system from ‘fight or flight’ to ‘rest and digest’.

If resting and digesting has been challenging, this will be a lovely treatment for them.  Babies’ bodies receive treatment quickly and efficiently - and because they are in rest and digest, it is not unusual for a baby to want to eat part way through treatment.

Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) treat your body’s soft tissue (muscles, connective tissue, fascia, skin, ligaments and tendons) to alleviate tension, stress and pain. Highly experienced RMTs utilize a variety of massage techniques and other related soft tissue treatments to relieve pain, reduce stress and improve movement and function.

Tannas is trained in both relaxation and deep tissue release techniques as well as Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and craniosacral therapy.  Each treatment may vary depending on your therapeutic goals and individual needs.
